Armenian sounds as offence in modern Turkish language
Le Temps Swiss newspaper published an interview with Mrs. Rakel Dink, the widow of slain Agos editor-in-chief Hrant Dink assassinated in 2007.

"Many journalists and intellectuals are still in danger in Turkey," she said, adding that the murder of her husband was a shock for the public and the apology campaign launched by a group of Turkish intellectuals is one of its consequences.

"Armenian or Greek, who bequeaths his property risks losing it," she said when asks about the life of the Armenian community in Turkey. "The textbooks make no mention of Armenians as if they had never lived in Turkey… Armenian sounds as an offence in the modern Turkish language."

She said that the assassination of her husband is carried out by the people who had to protect him.

"Evidence of crime is lost," she said.
