Armenia, Argentina discuss cooperation, Karabakh conflict

Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian has discussed bilateral relations and the humanitarian situation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with his Argentine counterpart Felipe Solá.

Speaking over the phone on Wednesday, March 17, the two "expressed satisfaction with the high level of the Armenian-Argentinean relations, expressing mutual readiness to make practical efforts to further expand and enrich the agenda of cooperation," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Both sides stressed the important role of the Armenian community of Argentina in strengthening bilateral ties. The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Argentina also hailed the close cooperation between the two countries on multilateral platforms.

Weighing in on regional security and stability issues, Aivazian provided Solá with details about the humanitarian situation in Artsakh.
