Azerbaijan transfers remains of one serviceman to Karabakh

The remains of one Armenian serviceman were transferred to the authorities of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Wednesday, April 7.

According to a statement from the State Emergency Service of Artsakh, the Azerbaijani side recovered the body from the region of Varanda. The remains, which most probably belong to a soldier or a volunteer, will be identified through DNA analysis.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1530 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
