Armenian lifter Rafik Harutyunyan has set a new record in Group B of the 2021 European Weightlifting Championships, currently underway in Moscow.

Competing in the 81 kg event, Harutyunyan lifted a record 196 kg above his head to win Group B and take bronze in the clean and jerk competition lift of the Championships.

With a total result of 346 kg, the Armenian athlete has taken the fourth spot.
