ARMENIAN TO ENTER "WORK COUNCIL" UNDER EURASEC
Armenia was suggested to enter the "Work Council" Association under the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC). This issue has been discussed by EurAsEC Secretary General Grigori Rapota, who is in Yerevan at present, and Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Markarian. As the Prime Minister noted, the Armenian government is ready to continue cooperation within the frames of the EurAsEC. Taking into consideration Armenian membership in the World Trade Organization, the Prime Minister said that cooperation with the EurAsEC could develop within the limits of the major priorities of the state economic policy. Belarus, Russia, Kirghizia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan serve on the EurAsEC. Armenia, Moldavia and Ukraine have the status of the observer in this organization.
