Beethoven's Missa Solemnis to be performed in Yerevan
Renowned conductor John Nelson is in Armenia for the second time to present Beethoven's Missa Solemnis in the state philharmonic hall on March 13.
Over 100 performers from Hover chamber choir, Armenian state chamber choir, Yerevan state choir will be on stage.
"Armenia is a small but proud country. Its fighting spirit goes back into centuries," Mr. Nelson told a news conference today.
"When I disliked the singers' performance I asked them to imagine that they are standing at the top of Ararat and singing for the whole world," he said.
