Ahmadinejad invites Sargsyan to Iran
Relations between Armenia and Iran rest on mutual respect and friendship, Iran's Foreign Minister said.

"It my fourth visit to Armenia during the past four years. Out talks focus on transport, energy and a number of other fields," Mr. Manouchehr Mottaki said during a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

Confirming the invitation Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent to Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan, Minister Mottaki said, "I am hopeful that Mr. Sargsyan's visit to our country will help expansion of bilateral relations."

For his part, Minister Nalbandian said international and regional issues were also in focus of talks. "We discussed possibilities to expand economic cooperation and the outcomes of the intergovernmental commission's meeting. We also referred to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and Armenian-Turkish relations," he said.
