Three more bodies recovered from Karabakh's Martuni

The remains of three more Nagorno-Karabakh victims were recovered on Thursday, June 17 from Martuni, parts of which came under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day in fall 2020, authorities report.

The bodies will be identified through DNA analysis, Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations said.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1579 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
