Remains of three more Karabakh victims recovered in the past day

The remains of three more Nagorno-Karabakh victims were recovered on Monday, June 21 from Varanda (Fizuli), which came under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day in fall 2020, authorities report.

The bodies, which most probably belong to servicemen, will be identified through DNA analysis, Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations said.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1583 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
