Remains of 7 more Karabakh war victims recovered in the past day

The remains of seven more Nagorno-Karabakh victims were recovered on Wednesday, July 14 from the village of Mataghis and a part of Martuni province that came under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day in fall 2020, authorities report.

The bodies will be identified through DNA analysis, Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations said.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1611 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
