Karabakh, South Caucasus discussed in Moscow

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office discussed the situation in South Caucasus on Tuesday, July 20, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

"During the conversation, issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement were discussed, taking into account the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021," the statement reads.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
