Armenia's Insurance Foundation for Servicemen has provided compensation to the families of 153 more soldiers killed in action during the Second Karabakh War, the Foundation revealed on Wednesday, July 21.

The number of main beneficiaries of the fund has thus grown to 4177, including 416 persons who had become beneficiaries before the 44-day war in late 2020.

The Foundation was launched in 2017, its resources are collected from mandatory monthly payments of taxpayers in Armenia and Artsakh (based on the amount of income), as well as from voluntary donations received from all over the world.

The funds ensure the financial stability of the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives or health for the defense of Armenia.
