A new video has surfaced to show Azeri troops deliberately setting fire to areas between Armenian and Azerbaijani positions near Yeraskh, Ararat province.

Fresh footage proves that the Azerbaijani side not only opens fire on the grass near the Armenian positions, but also deliberately throws burning objects onto the area. A vast territory is seen burning and smoking as a result.

The Defense Ministry reported earlier that the Azerbaijani troops have been firing on Armenian positions since Friday, August 6 noon. The Azeris are using various caliber firearms to target the Armenian posts, which has resulted in the grass cover between positions catching fire. The Armenian side is taking suppressive measures to silence the Azerbaijani fire, the Ministry said. No casualties have been reported.
