Armenia's government debt amounted to $8.9 billion in July – up by 12% since the beginning of the year, data published by the Finance Ministry reveals.
In July, the national debt grew by 1.1% month-on-month. According to fresh figures, the country's foreign debt now stands at $6.6 billion, while domestic debt totals $2.3 billion.
Domestic debt increased by 4.8% in the seventh month of the year, which accounted for all of the growth in public debt for July.
