Homes, military hospital restored in Karabakh's Martakert

Houses and a military hospital destroyed by Azerbaijan during the 44-day war in late 2020 have been restored in the town of Martakert in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), CivilNet reports.

The restoration was carried out with financial assistance provided of the Support Our Heroes foundation.

Ammunition exploded on the hospital's territory, completely destroying the roof, which has now been repaired. In addition, three houses have been restored too.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
