Armenia raising water prices from January 2022

Veolia Djur has submitted an application to the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia, seeking to raise the water price by AMD 40 ($0.08). PSRC chairman Garegin Baghramyan said that new tariffs will enter into force beginning from Janyary 1, 2022.

Baghramyan said Veolia Djur's application was first admitted in August, with the PSRC currently conducting a monitoring: "We are done in the provinces, the process will commence in Yerevan on October 1."

According to him, prices for water consumption will remain unchanged for some 100,000 households, Pastinfo reports.
