The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1054 to reach 284,237 on Tuesday, October 19 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 889 more people recovered, 37 patients died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus died from other reasons in the past 24 hours.

A total of 12,933 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 255,821 people have recovered, 5842 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1235 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
