Armenia extends coronavirus quarantine until June 2022

The quarantine in Armenia has been extended by six months until June 20, 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a decision approved by the government on Thursday, November 11.

The quarantine provides for a special regime of entry into and exit from the country, as well as self-isolation rules. When crossing the Armenian border, travelers must present a certificate of vaccination or be tested on site and wait for the results in self-isolation.

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1482 to reach 325,521 on Thursday. So far, 287,856 people have recovered, 6867 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1360 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
