A 28-year-old woman has died of Covid-19 in Armenia after contracting the virus during her pregnancy, health authorities reveal.

The woman, who was reported to have underlying health conditions, was diagnosed with coronavirus when 37-38 weeks pregnant.

The health ministry said she died 11 days after delivering her baby via C-section. The newborn's health is said to be satisfactory.
