Karabakh introduces month-long quarantine with major restrictions

Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) has introduced a month-long quarantine with major restrictions until December 24, according to a decision signed by President Arayik Harutyunyan.

State Minister Artak Beglaryan will coordinate the process, according to which all the educational institutions in the capital Stepanakert must switch to remote learning until November 27.

Under new restrictions, outdoor gatherings can be attended by no more than 100 people who will have to comply with all safety rules set by the country's health authorities. At the same time, a maximum of 40 people (20 people in case children are involved) can participate in indoor events.

In general, all the organizations working in Artsakh, long-term care institutions and psychiatric centers, as well as educational institutions have been ordered to follow safety rules that the Ministry of Health has developed.
