Two Armenian captives return home from Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan on Friday, November 26 transferred two captives – Mihran Musayelyan (b. 2000) and Aren Aramyan (b. 1993) – to Armenia, the Defense Ministry reports.

According to media reports from Azerbaijan, Musayelyan is a civilian who found himself in Azerbaijan after getting lost near the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), while Aramyan was captured in Baku's latest attack on Armenia proper.

Azerbaijan launched an unprovoked offensive in the southern Armenian province of Syunik on November 26, seizing control over two positions. The Armenian side has confirmed the death of six servicemen, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan saying that up to 32 others may have been taken captive.
