Flights between Yerevan, Armenia and Aktau, Kazakhstan, which were canceled amid protests in Kazakhstan, have resumed. The first flight will take place on January 10.
Oksana Svistun, a representative for the Kazakh carrier SCAT, said that the plane will land at the Yerevan airport at 18:20 and fly to Aktau at 19:10, Sputnik Armenia reports.
Demonstrations in Kazakhstan began just over a week ago in protest at a fuel price rise began. They developed into a wider protest against Tokayev's government and the influence of the former president, 81-year-old Nursultan Nazarbayev.
