Turkey, Armenia resuming flights from February 2

Turkey's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced on Wednesday, January 19 that flights to Armenia will begin from February 2, TASS reports.

Pegasus Airlines and Flyone Armenia have both obtained permissions from the civil aviation authorities of the two countries to begin transporting passengers between Yerevan and Istanbul from early February.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu revealed in mid-December that Turkey and Armenia were going to restart charter flights between Istanbul and Yerevan. The two countries have no diplomatic relations.
