Renowned conductor Christopher Warren-Green to visit Yerevan  
Renowned conductor Christopher Warren-Green will be on Armenian stage with the State Philharmonic Orchestra on April 8.

A highly experienced musician, Christopher Warren-Green's wide knowledge of the repertoire and poised command of an orchestra has earned him great respect throughout the music-making world.

He has held the position of Music Director of the London Chamber Orchestra since 1988. In 1998 he became Principal Guest Conductor of the Nordic Chamber Orchestra, taking over as Chief Conductor from 2001 until 2005 and from 1998 to 2001 was Chief Conductor of the Joenkoeping Sinfonietta.

He was appointed Principal Conductor of the Camerata Resident Orchestra of the Megaron Athens in October 2004.

In Europe, he regularly conducts the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the BBC Concert orchestras, as well as the Musik Collegium Winterthur and the Bergen Philharmonic.
