Roma will reportedly offer Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan a one-year extension of his contract with the Italian side, Italian media say.

Signals involving Mkhitaryan and coming from the Russian championship (Krasnodar and Spartak Moscow) have faded away due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TUTTOmercatoWEB.com).

"All this seems to bring Mkhitaryan closer to permanence, with Roma ready to offer an annual renewal for the attacking midfielder," the report adds.
