Armenian President-elect Vahagn Khachaturyan believes that everything must be done so as the war in Ukraine is over as soon as possible.

Khachaturyan, who has yet to be sworn in as the country's new President, made the remarks on Thursday, March 10, when asked how Armenia should position itself amid the war and the flurry of sanctions imposed by Western countries on Russia.

"I think that the attitude and the statements coming from the Armenian authorities are the most correct," Khachaturyan told reporters.

"We all just have to hope and do everything possible to end the war as soon as possible, we know very well what it means, we have felt it on our own skin."

On Thursday, the Russia-Ukraine war entered its 15th day.
