Armenian boxers Ruslan Aslikyan and Artur Shakhpazyan on Sunday, March 20 reached the final of the European Under-22 Championships, currently underway in Croatia.

In his penultimate bout, Aslikyan (up to 57 kg) scored a victory over Tahir Akkoyun from Turkey, while Shakhpazyan (63.5 kg) won a confident victory over Jalal Gurbanov of Azerbaijan, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.

In the final round of the European championship Armenia will thus be represented by two boxers, while Elida Kocharyan (up to 60 kg) will return home with a bronze medal.
