The summit of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine's leader Vladimir Zelensky could happen when negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv yield results, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday, April 4, RIA Novosti reports.

"A summit of the presidents of Russia and Ukraine can take place – President Putin has also said this more than once – as soon as there are results, and such a summit could be convened to consolidate that," Lavrov said told a press conference.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address the United Nations Security Council Tuesday morning, a spokesperson for the president of the Security Council confirmed to CNN reported.
