Armenian Police denied information on detection of picture gallery robber, Manvel V., aged 39, who admitted to having stolen 18 pictures from Hrazdan Subsidiary of RA National Picture Gallery.
"No one came to the police and admitted robbing the picture gallery," RA Police Press Secretary Sayatt Shirinyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, adding that the following day museum guard addressed an application for theft discovery.
On the night of 30/31, 18 pictures by Ayvazovski, Bashindgaghyan, Terlemezyan and other Armenian masters were stolen from Hrazdan Subsidiary of RA National Picture Gallery.
