The OSCE Chairmanship has welcomed the meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan under the aegis of President of the European Council Charles Michel and launching of the process toward the possible peace agreement.
"The CiO stands ready to assist in all efforts to ensure a stable and peaceful environment in the South Caucasus," the OSCE said on twitter.
Michel hosted President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan for a continuation of their discussions on the situation in the South Caucasus region and the development of EU relations with both countries on Wednesday, April 6.
In particular, Pashinyan and Aliyev agreed to convene a joint border commission by the end of April, whose mandate will be to delimit the bilateral border between the two countries and ensure a stable security situation along, and in the vicinity of, the borderline.
