S.O.S. group calls on RA President to save Lake Sevan
S.O.S. group formed in the framework of the Alliance of Ecological NGOs called on RA President Serzh Sargsyan to prevent GEOPROMINING company's plans to build a gold processing plant at Lake Sevan basin.
"GEOPROMINING company's initiative threatens the lake's existence. 100 million tons of cyanic compounds, arsenic and pyrites will penetrate into the water," the group said in their letter to President.
