Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergei Lavrov on Friday, April 15 discussed the implementation of the agreements between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021,

According to a statement from Russia, the unblocking of transport communications in the region and the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was on the table.

Yerevan confirmed that prospects for agreeing on a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku was discussed as well, with Mirzoyan stressing Russia's role, including as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, in the process.

The ministers also weighed in on preparations for the official visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Russia on April 19-20, during which a package of bilateral documents are expected to be sealed.
