Mirzoyan to travel to U.S. for Armenia-U.S. Strategic Dialogue

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a working visit to the United States on May 2-6 to participate in the session of Armenia-U.S. Strategic Dialogue.

In Washington, Mirzoyan will also meet with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, USAID Director Samantha Power, U.S. Special Assistant to the President Amanda Sloat and other colleagues.

Meetings with high-ranking representatives of the U.S. Congress will take place, and the Armenian foreign policy chief will also deliver remarks at the Atlantic Council think tank.

The Armenian and American two governments convene the U.S.-Armenia Strategic Dialogue to discuss mutual areas of cooperation. According to the Department of State, U.S. investment in Armenia has flowed to a variety of projects, including those related to energy, information technology, agriculture, tourism, carpet and furniture production, construction, beverage bottling, jewelry and textile production, and mining.
