Official: "The man who walked on the moon" will arrive in Yerevan

Head of the Prime Minister's Office Arayik Harutyunyan has said that "the man who walked on the moon" will arrive in Yerevan to join the Starmus Festival, set to be held in Armenia on September 5-10.

Harutyunyan was referring to Charles Duke, an American former astronaut who, as a lunar module pilot of Apollo 16 in 1972, became the tenth and youngest person to walk on the Moon, at age 36 years and 201 days.

"While the majority of humanity makes judgments about the universe and expresses its feelings about it from planet Earth, astronauts have a unique opportunity to talk about our planet from the height of space," Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook Friday, July 22.

"And what can they tell us? You will find out this on September 5-10 by participating in the Starmus VI festival."
