Azerbaijan is assured that Armenian-Turkish border won't open
"Azerbaijan is not concerned about opening of Armenian-Turkish border, being confident that this won't happen," Azerbaijan Ambassador to Turkey Zakhir Khashimov stated.

"We fully believe the statements of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Yet, some agitation about the issue is registered both in Armenia and Turkey."

"The border can't be open before Armenia withdraws forces from Karabakh and abandons accusations of genocide and territorial claims toward Turkey," Hurriyet cited Zakhir Khashimov as saying.
