Armenians of France hold protest action at Georgian Embassy
A hundred of Armenians gathered in front of Georgia's Embassy in Paris to demand release of Vahagn Chakhalyan, leader of the United Javakhk movement, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison on April 7, freelance correspondent Jean Eckian told PanARMENIAN.Net.

Members of Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF), Alexis Govciyan and Mourad Papazian of ARF Dashnaktsutyun met with Georgia's Ambassador to France Mamuka Kudava to present him the complaints of French organizations. "The lawsuit was not equitable and transparent. We call for immediate release of Vahagn Chakhalyan," they said.

Ambassador recorded the claims, ensuring that those will be transmitted to Tbilisi.

Alexis Govciyan and Mourad Papazian then asked that French lawyers ensure defense United Javakhk's head.
