Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Azerbaijan continuously blames its one ceasefire violations on Armenia, thus creating a pretext for new military aggression against the country, ARMENPRESS reports, Pashinyan wrote on his Twitter page.
“Azerbaijan is continuously attributing its own ceasefire violations to Armenia. Obviously, this is a creation of a pretext for new military aggression against Armenia,” Pashinyan said in a tweet on Monday, October 17.
“A permanent international mechanism is needed to maintain the ceasefire regime and provide border security.”
Pashinyan’s remarks came on the heels of a decision by the European Council to send a 40-member monitoring mission to Armenia
