Several options for Yerevan-Baku peace treaty - Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that there are several options for a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but Armenia considers it important that the border delimitation process be completed at least before the peace treaty enters into force.

"At least we will do everything for this. There are several options for a peace treaty. For example, there is the option of signing a framework agreement, which sets out the general framework of the relationship, but does not cover all possible issues," Pashinyan said.

"If it is acceptable for Azerbaijan to move forward on this option, then it is possible, and we can do it. We will do everything in our power for this."

According to him, there are framework and non-framework versions of the peace agreement. The Prime Minister stressed, however, that the delimitation process must be completed before the entry into force of the peace treaty.
