NATO won't cancel exercise in Georgia because of Russia
Russian ambassador to NATO Dmitry Rogozin called NATO maneuvers in Georgia absurd and a provocation. However, Brussels suggest Russia to join exercise as a member of Partnership for Peace program, and won't cancel military exercise in Georgia planned for May as Russia claims. "Everybody has been fully informed of the exercise. There are no surprises. Georgia made and offer, which it was accepted. 'Russia could have joined any time, still could. Although the exercises are starting pretty soon on May 6. But it's open to all partner countries," Alliance reported. Moscow finds different Georgian political forces can use the maneuvers for destabilization. Despites it violates the course to rebuild good relations with Russia, which was announced at NATO anniversary summit," EuroNews reports.
