Ankara can solve a number of problems with opening border with Armenia
Once Armenia and Turkey sign the agreement on establishment of diplomatic relations and opening of the border, Turkey will automatically get good dividends, former Armenian Foreign Minister said.

"With opening of the border with Armenia, Ankara will solve a number of problems, including recognition of the Armenian Genocide and Nagorno Karabakh conflict," Vartan Oskanian told a news conference in Yerevan.

Caucasus stability and cooperation platform, which Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan presented after Georgian clashes, may be implemented, according to him.

In addition, Mr. Oskanian said there is nothing unusual in Georgia's offer on strategic partnership with Armenia. "It is natural that Georgian Foreign Minster wants to enlist Armenia's support. Tbilisi needs us. That is why I see nothing extraordinary in Vashadze's statement," the diplomat said.
