What tossed to Ahmadinejad at UN racism conference?
Many diplomats walked out UN racism conference during Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speech. European and Canada delegates this way boycotted Iranian criticism of Israel.

Some delegates remaining in auditorium periodically interrupted Ahmadinejad's speech by yelling. Security took away two protesters in clown costumes who tossed something at Ahmadinejad.

Boycotters concerned the forum may become a platform for Iranian president Ahmadinejad to criticize Israel. France declared to leave the conference if it descended into anti-Semitism or other rhetoric harshly critical of Israel. They criticized organizers to give the floor first to Ahmadinejad who called "to erase Israel from world map".

Israel recalled its Ambassador to Switzerland after president met with Ahmadinejad. Boycott of so many countries disappointed also UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon. The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pallay, expressed shock and deep disappointment as well, VOA NEWS reported.

USA, Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Israel, Germany, Italy, New Zeeland and Poland still boycott the forum.
