Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met IFC delegation headed by Ms. Stefka Slavova, Senior Economist at the World Bank Doing Business Reform Unit.

Ms. Slavova said the delegation arrived to Armenia on the government's invitation to plan further works in the framework of Business Enabling Environment program. She said delegation has already held some productive meetings with representative of ministries of economy, finance, urban development and other agencies, discussed issues on tax and customs legislation, as well as business organization and construction permits, that it approved.

She also drew attention to persisting problems and presented her comments and suggestions to solve those.

For his part, PM Sargsyan thanked delegation for the job done and promised to continue activities taking into account recommendations.
