Massacre of Adana not properly studied
History is important not only for reconsideration of the past but also for the future, a U.S. professor said.

"The events of Adana should be studied in the context of present-day Armenia-Turkey relations," Stephan Asaturian, professor at University of California, Berkeley, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

"It's little known about the massacre of Armenians in Adana yet. It's not known whether the massacre was organized by Young Turks or anybody else. The motives are not known either," he said.
