Harvard to host Armenian Genocide awareness walk
On April 23, Armenians of Boston will place a picket at Harvard Square in commemoration of 94th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire. Activity starts at the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. Afterwards, the group will proceed to walk over to the pit behind the Harvard Square. Goal of picket is to promote public awareness of the first genocide in 20th century - the Armenian Genocide. After the program in Harvard Square, the group will walk back to the Armenian Church, Boston Armenian Students' Network reports.
