The Azerbaijani weightlifting team will perform at the European Championships set to be held from April 15 to 23 in Armenia, Haqqin.az reports.

The team from Azerbaijan was supposed to arrive in Yerevan via Tbilisi on Thursday, April 13. Three weightlifters and one weightlifter will take to the platform in Yerevan: Isa Rustamov (67 kg), Omar Javadov (73 kg), Ali Shukurlu (102 kg) and Nazila Ismayilova (49 kg).

In total, weightlifters from 40 countries will take part in the European Championship.
