Armenian-Turkish agreement damages Armenia's interests
For the past several months, normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations became the key issue in Armenia political agenda.

"Javakhk Diaspora reiterates that good neighborly relations must be established only after Turkey recognizes the Armenian genocide and rights of Armenians. Raise the blockade and establishment of diplomatic relations without preconditions can be the first steps on this way. It is unacceptable for us to normalize relations with Turkey at expense of sovereignty of our country. Based on these principles, we find unacceptable and reprehensible signature of joint statement made by Armenian Foreign Ministry and Turkey," Javakhk Diaspora of Russia said in statement obtained by PanARMENIAN.Net.

"Signature of the document a day before the April 24, when Turkish leaders speak about Artsakh problem and make anti-Armenian statements, means that they dictate preconditions and hit interests of Armenia and the entire Armenian nation. Since this process may lead to negative changes in Armenian foreign policy, Javakhk Diaspora will meet soon to discuss organization of protest actions," the statement said.
