Another failure of Russian diplomacy?
The Armenian-Turkish agreement, signed in far Switzerland, demonstrates the truth that during the past years Russian diplomacy was systematically loosing positions in post soviet area.

"Where can The Road Map lead?" article by Ajar Kurtov says that others intercept de-facto, and some times de-jure initiatives and deprive Russia of opportunity for maneuvering.

"The diplomatic terms sued for this case also prove the above mentioned. Since road map expression is from American and Western European vocabulary. The text of agreement is very important, as well as how it may affect the processes of South Caucasus. Details of Armenian-Turkish agreement are unknown, so far. Now we are concerned about Russia's position, which is still missing. At the same time, it is hard to imagine Armenian-Turkish relations without interests of some other countries like Russia, Azerbaijan, USA, Germany, Great Britain, France, Iran, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Central Asia countries and some Arab countries," says the article published by Strategic Culture Foundation.
