"New design for exercise books" Contest announced in Armenia
RA Ministry of Education and Science announced a contest for exercise books design.
The following are obligatory contest terms: cover page should feature pictures to symbolize Armenian culture and science, the second page will contain Armenian hymn text.
"Armenian schoolchildren and students often use exercise books with uninformative pictures and foreign titles. It's a serious omission, as during his school or student years every Armenian school kid or student, in spite of himself, becomes a consumer of such exercise books for 10 to 15 years," RA Ministry of Culture announcement states.
June 15, 2009 is a deadline for contest participation applications. Publishing houses, as well as private persons can participate in a contest submitting exercise books' designs by email.
