The U.S. Department of State has declared that any violation of Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity will bring about serious consequences.

In response to an inquiry from the Voice of America, the State Department said the United States strongly supports Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Department said they regularly emphasize their expectations, such as the admonition against the use of force, and continuously monitor the situation.
