Crimean Armenians are doomed to assimilation without Armenian school
Armenian Church construction in Simferopol and creation of Armenian school are Crimean Armenians Community's strategic tasks, Head of Crimean Armenians' Community Oleg Gabrielyan said, adding that without implementation of these tasks, the community won't be considered complete. ''Without Armenian school, the community has no future. The church is not strong enough to resist assimilative processes all on its own,'' he emphasized.

Oleg Gabrielyan noted the following among the most important landmarks in Crimean Armenians Community development: CAC headquarters' creation, Crimean Parliament's recognition of the Armenian Genocide, reconstruction of old Armenian cemetery in Simferopol, return and reconstruction of Armenian churches in Kerch and Evpatoria, Yalta Church restoration, 650th anniversary celebration of Surb Nshan church at Surb Khach monastery.
